1. Who we are

BlueLandscape is operated by BlueLandscape B.V., registered in the Netherlands. We act as a data processor on behalf of our customers (data controllers).

2. What data we collect

• Account users: Email address, name (for account management and authentication)
• Respondents: Email address, conversation transcripts (for research feedback purposes)

3. How we use your data

We process data solely for providing the feedback service. Conversation data is processed by AI to extract research insights.

4. AI processing

Conversations are processed using Claude (Anthropic). Data is temporarily sent to US servers under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Anthropic does not train on API data. We plan to migrate to EU-based AI processing.

5. Data storage

All data is stored on DigitalOcean servers in Amsterdam (AMS3), EU.

6. Data retention

Respondent session data is automatically anonymized after 90 days (or shorter if configured by the account). Anonymization replaces personal identifiers while preserving research value.

7. Your rights

You can request erasure of your data by contacting privacy@bluelandscape.io.

8. Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies:

• Essential — authentication and session management. These are always set and cannot be opted out of, because the site cannot function without them.
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — only set if you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner. Used to understand how the site is used in aggregate. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

• Google (Analytics — only after you opt in via the cookie banner)
