BlueLandscape · Invoicing · vs Payt

BlueLandscape vs Payt.

Payt automates accounts-receivable management. BlueLandscape does invoicing today — and is building an AI-driven accounts-receivable tool over the coming months. Honest comparison.

Two different phases of the invoicing cycle

Payt fills a specific gap: once the invoice is out the door, Payt takes over with reminders until the customer pays. Friendly email after a few days, formal email after two weeks, phone-call prompt or collections handover for long overdue cases. It's a focused tool that can be hugely valuable for SMBs with many outstanding receivables.

BlueLandscape is at the other end of the process today: we help you get the invoice out quickly and correctly. The accounts-receivable automation Payt offers is on our roadmap — as one of the tools we're shipping over the coming months, built on the same AI suite you already use for invoicing and customer interviews.

Where Payt wins today

  • Mature reminder flows. Four or five steps, configurable per customer, with automatic escalation. We don't have that.
  • Integrations with accounting platforms. Payt connects to Exact, Moneybird, AFAS, Twinfield, etc. — sync outstanding invoices automatically.
  • Phone work. Payt offers optional outbound phone services for stubborn unpaid invoices. We're not going to do that.
  • Collections handover. For genuinely unpaid invoices, Payt can hand off to a collections agency.
  • Proven track record. Payt has been running for years with mid-market SMB customers. We're still building our version.

What our future version will do differently

When our accounts-receivable tool ships, the main differentiators will be:

  • Same conversation. No separate tool to configure. "Send a reminder to ACME, and escalate if they haven't paid in 14 days" — the AI handles it.
  • One client base for everything. The companies you invoice, interview, and (soon) administer are the same. No sync between platforms.
  • Pay-per-use. No €19/month subscription; pay per sent reminder or per recovered invoice — exact pricing at launch.
  • AI-driven flows. You describe what you want instead of configuring a workflow builder. The AI also personalises the reminder email per customer.

Our version is not available today. We estimate shipping it over the coming quarters, in the same cadence as the other roadmap tools (administration, time-tracking, expenses).

What you can do now

Three options, depending on your situation:

  1. Pair-setup: BlueLandscape for invoicing (fast + AI), Payt for accounts receivable. The UBL data from every invoice is cleanly structured and imports into Payt via your accounting platform.
  2. Wait for our version: if you're fine sending manual reminders today and want one AI suite for everything later, use BlueLandscape for invoicing today and wait for our AR tool.
  3. Payt only: if you have a settled invoicing flow already and just want to fix the AR side, connect Payt to your existing platform.

Our honest take

If you have a real receivables problem today — many outstanding invoices, customers paying late, little time to chase manually each month — Payt is the right choice. We won't replace it today.

But if your priority right now is sending new invoices (and chasing can stay manual for a while), use BlueLandscape for the invoicing and wait for our accounts-receivable tool. When it ships, you get it in the same chat as the rest of your workflow — no separate tool, no sync, no second login.
